At Brockman Pet Supplies, we cater for both wild and domestic birds. We
believe that they are all as important as each other and would like our customers
to know what they will find in store:
Domestic Birds
Having a bird as a pet is straight forward; however it is vital that you give them what they will need. You have to consider housing before you purchase your feathered friend and are aware of just how big he can grow. Some birds stay relatively small, however if you were buying a cockatiel for example, you would need a much larger cage for him to stay in.
They will also require perches large enough to accommodate their size and where necessary a nesting box. (breeders only)
We sell a large range of bird toys including mirrors, bells and mineral perches. We also sell iodine blocks and seeded bars for those days when you want to treat your friend.
It is important to remember that the majority of domestic birds need to eat specialised grit to aid digestion. We sell this along with the feeders and a variety of foods, including “Fruity Parrot” “Trill” and “Canary Mix”. We also stock a selection of nutty fruity treats which can be given on occasion as they like to work for their food.
Wild Birds
We have a lovely selection of seeds, peanuts, wooden and plastic feeders
and treats for our wild friends. Some of the more popular ones are Fat Balls
and Excel Apple Treats. We even cater for Ducks, Swans and Hedgehogs. No
